Well, we gave it a try for Brinn. Unfortunately, I don't think my allergies would ever have been completely ok, and in the end we found out we are just simply, "dog people". Brinn took it surprisingly good. We did tell her before we got them that we didn't know if we would be able to keep them. She was very mature about it, told them goodbye, and didn't even cry.
Either she didn't care, or maybe she took it so well because now we have our eyes on a miniature American Eskimo (Eskie) puppy. She was just born on Christmas Day, so she won't be able to leave her mother until February. Here is a picture of her.
Yes, we do realize she looks a little rat-like right now, but remember she was just born on Christmas Day! Here is what she will look like. She will only get 12-15 inches tall and 10-20 pounds. So cute! We are open to suggestions for a name!
